Sometimes it happens. Sometimes i update this journal and come on deviantart. It happens just in very boring days. But has to be very, very, very boring.
The title of this journal is from "Michael Clayton" movie. I don't know why, these words are impressed on my head. Nice movie, by the way. Not good but nice. I don't have new photos. Or maybe i have but i don't like to share them. Then a question: do you share all the pictures you like?
Oh and don't comment my deviations, but comment her: *solsticee . She is nice, and talented, and have a really nice gallery. Most of galleries here are stereotyped and boring, she is creative, and the gallery is just.. nice. To watch.
Well.. in really i don't have much to say. New lenses are great, even if the 28/2.8 works bad (the aperture ring doesn't work) .... With the battery grip my D50 looks like a D2X ehhee ... And my life is boring at the moment... very very boring. And it's depressing.
Last journal update was about the Nikkor AI-S 100-300mm f/5.6 ED (USD 27 - EUR 17) and about the Vivitar Series 1 AI-S 200mm f/3.5 MC (MultiCoated) (USD 29 - EUR 19), and before of them i've bought the Tokina AI-S 80-200mm f/4 (USD 32 - EUR 21). But thanks to eBay and some european forums, i've bought some other lenses at beautiful prices... - Nikkor AI 135mm f/2.8 (USD 20 - EUR 13)!!!! - Panagor AI-S 35-200mm f/3.8 MC (GBP 8 - EUR 11) - Nikkor AI 28mm f/2.8 (GBP 5 - EUR 8) !!!!! - Tokina AT-X SD 80-200mm f/2.8 PRO (USD 145 - EUR 95)
All in mint condition... i'm very surprised! Especially for the last one...! It has almost the same quality of the more more expensive Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 (EUR 800-900) but costs 1/10 ...
Oh, i've also bought a battery grip for my Nikon D50, and two batteries.... crazy purchases during last week!
Comments about the lenses (if someone have one of them) are welcome..! I have no time to test them, for now..
I'm in love with eBay. Some weeks ago i've bought a Tokina AIS 80-200mm f/4 for EUR 20(about USD 32) and when i got it i've discovered it is a professional serie lens. After of that i've started to look at eBay auctions everyday, looking especially for old lens (they fit in my Nikon D50..for Canonians it is impossible because old Canon lens -FD- don't fit into EOS Canon digital cameras, maybe except for the 1D and 5D) and until now i've bought other two great lens: - Nikkor AIS 100-300mm f/5.6 (USD 27 - EUR 17) - Vivitar AIS 200mm f/3.5 (USD 29 - EUR 19) Just few minutes ago i've lost a GREAT auction for an old Nikkor AI 135mm f/2.8.. it ended up at USD 33 (EUR 22) but my highest offer was USD 31 ... at the last second someone offered more and bought it... very bad! Plus i've bought a new Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical ED (IF) for EUR 280...
Yes, i'm in love with eBay..
